Remy Xiong Wong was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He moved to Rowland Heights, California at the age of 22. He's currently an undergraduate at the University of California, Riverside and is completing his degree in business administration. His passion for music began in 2001 when he was 13 years old. Inspired by artists such as 2pac, Notorious B.I.G., The Game, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Michael Jackson, and Rockell; he wrote, recorded, and mix his first rap song about basketball with a tape recorder and the beat playing through his computer speaker as loud as possible. Although it was amateurically done; an acquaintance of his, Danny a.k.a DJ Dubmasterdee, wanted to work with him. They started their own hip hop group called "The Stikupz" hoping they could record and release their own songs. However, due to creative differences and lack of commitment, none of it was ever accomplish. Nevertheless, he continues to write lyrics and record and mix them into songs whenever he can. His equipments include but are not limited to a USB studio condenser microphone and recording/mixing softwares such as Cool Edit Pro, Adobe Audition, Cubase, In addition, he's currently learning how to produce his own beats using Propellerhead Reason, Propellerhead Recycle, FL Studio, and a MIDI keyboard.
